LEARN TO DRIVE.
Especially if you are a quiet, shy, reserved person. Learning to drive is a HUGE confidence booster.
It CAN be scary and therefore doing it can show you that you ARE quite capable of doing BIG, SCARY things all by yourself! The independence and freedom of having a car and the ability to go where you want is HUGE! Not to mention it makes it possible to take a road trip with the girls! ;)
